Acer shirasawanum 'Sunny'

Another introductions from Crispin. A new golden full moon japanese maple. This one I am very very excited about.

Does this one grow in full sun?

 

I haven't had it in full sun yet. But seem to do well in full shade and morning sun/afternoon shade. It didn't grow much this year. Sometimes it takes a few years for my maples to adjust to my climate.

 

I am thinking of getting this one or ‘Jordan’. Supposedly ‘Jordan’ can grow in full sun, but ‘Sunny’ seems prettier to me.

 

Good morning, I really don't think that Jordan is the right one for full sun. The leaves do fry if it gets too hot in the Summer months. I've never seen Sunny so can't comment on it.
