Yours has a lovely warmth about it Xi. Have you stopped staring at this morning !!!? I know I would struggle getting any work done with that in view.
More Moonrise - I can't stop staring or taking photos, it seems! Creamy pink-yellow Moonrise: Little green-and-red Moonrise:
Thanks Lisa - this one is in my 'full sun' patch that gets sun to around 16:00; my smaller Moonrise that's coloured with the usual greens and reds gets sun to about 13:00 so there may be something to the differing light levels resulting in different colours!
16th June 2022 and the start of the Summer heat, I wonder how the shirasawanum's will cope this year !!!? Time will tell I suppose, but atm my Moonrise is doing OK.
24th June 2022 qnd after some chat about how the Shirasawanum's are doing everywhere this year compared to last, here is my Moonrise enjoying all the clouds with a little sun.
Here's my little green Moonrise. Not as flashy as my big golden one, but a very good tree on its own merits:
Bet it looks just as good with the lights glowing through it Xi. Now that's a thought for a posting ???
Oooh it does look rather good at night, you're right D! If my phone camera is up to it, I'll look to snap a pic!
Big Moonrise has gone almost uniformly pale yellow, but there's still some hidden peach colour in the shaded areas if you know where to look:
17th April 2024 and my Moonrise is doing its thing. I just love the droopy appearance of the leaves as it leafs out.
