Aptly named as can be seen in the photo, its color causes it to look like it is made of bronze as it is leafing out. The effect doesn't last long, but it is still a beautiful cultivar even after it greens up, as it retains some reticulation and the leaf is large and shapely, giving it an attractive look all season.

Saw this on YouTube the other day by Brian of Mr Maple. I thought immediately I would really love to have this one in my collection.
What amazing colours, I hope it holds them well into the summer!!?

The bronze color does not last long, but the colors on it are still really nice otherwise. As an added bonus, it appears to be a vigorous grower, although this will be my first full year with it. Time will tell.
