Acer saccharum 'Legacy'

    Moller's Nursery {1981}. Sugar maple. Tree is reliably coloured orange yellows, for about a month. Resists wind and drought well, and easily grown. Young tree , no seeds yet. Pic 1 - Sept. 26/07, pic 2 Oct. 8/07, pic 3 Oct. 13/07.

    Here are some more A. saccharum 'Legacy' photos, these taken today at VanDusen Botanical Garden. I think the last photo was from the tree next to the one the others are from, but both had the 'Legacy' label.

    The tree on the left is labelled with just the Acer saccharum species name. The habit looks quite different from the 'Legacy' on the right.
