    one red maple with orange autum coulor ,received by Esveld 3 years ago growth 40cm for year interesting!!!...date of autum coulor 25 10 2007

    While your specimen may perhaps be an unnamed selection (grafted clone) note that in this instance the name drummondii belongs to a botanical var., used for the southern red maple (representing the species in the bottom end of its wild range) - and not to a cultivar 'Drummondii':

    "Leaf larger, often broader than long, more or less white and hairy beneath, thicker, usually with five deeper lobes; seeds larger, to 2" (instead of 1"[or less]) long."

    ok is varieties!by Sargen(1884)but i see many photo and the leaves for me are equal to wild tree
