Acer palmatum 'Yellow Threads'

One of the newer introductions from Buchholz. I'm pretty impressed with the colors so far.

 

That's something rather special D and I think it will look amazing near a deep red, Emperor I perhaps ?? The contrast in leaf form and colour could be amazing.
Won't be over here for many years if ever, so I will enjoy your photos over the coming years.

 

I've been wondering what I will put it by but it will be some with dark red.

Reminding me of what is named as Kinshi over here D. If so you have a real treat in store for October.
I love the shape you are getting on the main leader. No wiring needed there!

 

D, 'Kinshi' is on my list to compare to this one. I will definitely put it on a separate part of the yard. From pics the look the same tbh.

 

Yes agreed very similar, but both are wonderful cultivars whatever the name.
Tbh D, there are too many now around the world that are the same trees with just different names. I am looking forward to the MS synonym list. Think that's going to be quite an eye opener.
