    Green upright

    Zone: 4
    Height: 15-20'
    Width / Spread: 10-15'
    Fall Foliage: Red/Orange
    Flower: Purple

    Description (from Millican Nurseries):
A nice alternative to Japanese maples in harsh Zone 4 conditions. Large, deeply-cut green leaves similar to a Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium'. Striking blend of orange and red fall foliage. Displays all the artistry of a Japanese maple with much greater cold-tolerance.

Looks like a winner.I hope this is one maple you won't have to fret about and faff around with.

My sister planted one in Minneapolis (zone 4) just before winter, and it leafed out perfectly this spring. That was after a colder than usual winter, too. Seems like one tough tree.

Nice green house color. It's growing pretty fast so I might be planting in 2023.
