Acer palmatum 'Red Baron'

The US National Arboretum, late May, 2006. Blurry, but at least the shape can be determined.

Here is a pic of my Red Baron. Currently about 4ft tall, it has a much wider branching structure then bloodgood or fireglow. The leaves are taking full sun and are a dark purple.

 

The spring color is a bright red 2011
