Like all other 'Pevés', this is likely a selection from P.Vergeldt from the Netherlands. I am still to be disappointed by any of the 'Pevés'. This one must be quite recent since it is not widely proposed (patent?). My plant is just a 2 years old graft but already offers great promise with big red leaves. The new leaves are particularly attractive, bright red, a bit crumpled with margins having large, coarse teeth. Pictures taken July 11th. Plant is in full sun (in a pot). 14th April 2021 and my very first posting of my new Peve Ollie that I had as a gift in 2020. Early days for this one, but I wanted to show it here and post updates on it's progress. Lovely deep reds already, so looks promising.
19th April 2021 and now my Peve Ollie is doing what it does best, showing off it's amazing deepest of reds.
29th May 2021 and oh how long it's taken this year to leaf out !! But now it has and is a lovey deep maroon red.
