10th December 2022 and even when it thawed a little yesterday, the very quick and hard frost froze the drips on my old Osakazuki. -7°c btw.

4th May 2023 and it's taken 4 years to get this one back to looking reasonable. So I thought a few photos to share today.

Same here, but mine is potted and it's (it was) high time I repotted it.
And although the leaves are about the same colour as yours, mine is in almost full shade.

We've had cold, north-east wind (20 to 50 km/hr, 320 mph to 80 mph - roughly) and rising temperatures, smthg like 14°C at night and today 28°C. A nice month of July like 10 years ago (rxcept for the cold wind that dries the soil and the leaves...)

Same here Alain, its drying everything out very quickly. The maples are not liking it at all...

3rd November 2023 and the start of what appears to be a good Autumn for my old Osakazuki.

16th April 2024 and I thought I would show my Osakazuki with leaves turning green before other maples in my garden have leafed out.

That's simply beautiful. Here's what mine looks like today, some 4700 miles away.

Thanks Margot. 4700 miles in cold BC means no leaves for another couple of weeks looking at your tree.
Do post it when it leafs out. It's a lovely shape.
