Some of the small examples are just as pretty as the large. I have a variety of small and large in my garden and they are equally as nice IMO.
Definitely agree - it's found its 'forever home' under my acrylic rain awning: that filtered light clearly agrees with it!
Miwa dropped all its leaves a few weeks ago, but apparently decided that it wasn't done for the year and has regrown everything at this late stage, meaning I have a full crop of new, fresh leaf-colour amidst all the autumn colour-changes. Just hoping we have a mild October to give it time to harden these off before the winter starts biting:
An update photo of my 'Miwa' this spring. Seems to be doing well even up against the fence. Most of it is now up and hanging over.
