    This is a selected seedling from 'Mikawa yatsubusa', it is showing much better fall color than its parent. Plants shown are rooted cuttings. Pics taken 11/5/05.

    here are some of the seedlings from mikawa yatsubusa. it was pretty cool to see all of the different new trees. there was one called Ikandi. I forgot who the mother plant was but it looked pretty darn good when i saw it last week.

    The cream colored leaves are amazing; I've seen pictures of similar seedlings on Buchholz's observation page. I'm just waiting for the day that these are introduced to the public!

    Acer palmatum 'mikawa yatsubusa' seedlings are so cool! At peak color (Fall) they have shades of red, orange, and purple. Although small, they are full of personality and character.
