    This cultivar is not often mentioned. These pics are for those interested, they show the leaves in spring, summer and fall in my garden. Seven years old plant, morning sun, afternoon shade.

    Here are new pics from 2005. First one from April, the others yesterday.This fall the colours are outstanding. Hope this promotes this unique cultivar.

    Good to see another Matsuyoi grower ;-)).
    Your plant must be in full sun to develop almost red fall coloration with very little yellow. Mine is in dappled shade and displays only yellows (with a hint of orange) as shown above.

    Here is the tree in the first part of august, it is changing to its fall color. A couple days later

    I added a photo #3 that i took in July of the tree, you can see its change

    I have added 2 more photos of the tree in late fall 2011
