    Just received this tree and am quite impressed with it:

    "The unusual bark color, light green with yellow markings, makes this slower-growing tree stand out from other maples. Star-shaped leaves of the heptalobum type and a beautiful layered habit show off the fall color of gold crowned with red."

    Summer foliage is green, and the tree gets to about 6 feet. I particularly like the red veins and petioles, and the waxy appearance of the leaves. These pictures show the start of fall color.
