13th May 2021 and my Iigima Sunago has now come out to play for another season.
6th June 2021 and I love this one in my collection. It was so good to hear from a pro @Otto Bjornson that it is one of his favourites also.
yes, the Iijima Sunago really stands out in any garden landscape. Nice to know there is another one out there!

Glad to read it does well in full sun as well, no idea where it's going yet but that certainly opens up more options.

17th June 2021 and my Iigima Sunago is pushing out some new growth this morning. These leaves are just wonderful and I know N @D97x7 is going to love his also.
Love this one as well, recommended by a collector on Facebook, so glad he did.
The star of 2021 cultivars??? It just maybe.

My little Iijima Sunago yesterday.
10th April 2022 and one of my favourites in my collection is Iijima sunago. I look forward to it starting every Spring.
21st April 2022 and I am now seeing some good growth on my Iijima sunago.
3rd May 2022 and I've posted an update for a couple of members. Yes the leaves are this dark , but they lighten as Spring progresses.
Mine today, fully open now and enjoying the sunshine. I love everything about this cultivar, the shape, the leaf colour, even the name has a nice ring to it.
23rd May 2022 and this cultivar is perfect near a yellow. I have mine next to Summer Gold.
Mine just catching some sunshine after a morning shower at the end of May.

Sorry, lol. I was looking at Emery's Koko earlier, that looks similar and I believe Hippo have it in stock.
