OR: Acer palmatum var. Heptalobum These photos have been taken over the past week to catalog what I hope will turn out to be a very nice maple. While not shown in the photos, it displays quite striking light green to lime-yellow colored bark. The age of the plant is unknown, but suspected to be around 4-5 years old.
A very nice young tree at the Morris Arboretum. May 2024. (I couldn’t take a good picture of the tag because the two swans were trying to attack me through and over the fence.)
