Acer palmatum 'Fairyhair' question

    After seeing the last photo posted in this thread I looked up this cultivar to learn more about it. Everything I read said it was a "dwarf" that never got more than 3'. But the one shown is so big? So is it *not* a dwarf cultivar?

    Also, does anyone know of any other cultivars that have a similar delicate foliage?

    Hello

    The Fair Hair in the photo is one of the largest and it has lived all of its life at a nursery where it has been pampered. On a very rare exception you might find one a few feet tall. to the most part you you will have a hard time buying one 18" tall. So yes, Fairy hair could fit into the grouping of dwarf.
