Since there wasn't an entry for 'Crimson Carole' I decided to make one. I've had this one for over 15 years I think. I know it was small enough to come back from Oregon in the back seat of our sedan. It is a Buchholz introduction and the spelling there includes the "e" at the end of Carol, so I guess my previous posts about this one were spelled incorrectly? Anyway this has been trouble free for me except that it kind of sprawls and droops at the branch ends. Reading more about it online I find that the descriptions say it is "pendulous" so I guess that's how it rolls. It is always pretty with the sun coming up behind it.
