6 weeks on from my last photo and my Brocade is performing well. Loves the sun as you can see. Photo 21st July 2020.
My Brocade gets better and better in this cooler Summer weather. Long may it continue IMO. Today's photo 24th July 2020.
This cultivar just loves the sun shining through it's leaves. This photo was taken very early this morning. August 3rd 2020.
August 15th 2020, the photo diary continues as promissed. Everything apart from just a few have held up very well. The heavy rain over the past couple of days has helped a lot. I think we will get a reasonable Autumn show this year fingers crossed. My favourite today, even beating Dr Brown amongst my dissectums. I really could just fill my garden with dissectums, they perform all year round.
19th August 2020, lashings of rain for last 3 days, everything is picking up, so a good Autumn display is still on the cards. My Brocade, as with all my dissectums never lets me down.
27th August 2020 the winds have died down at last. Some suffered more than others. This is to show how my Brocade coped with the strong 50mph winds. IMO very well.
Well its the beginning of September 2020 and the dew is appearing on the leaves. Together with the fast changing colours, it's that time of year of joy in the maple garden. Not too much dew on my Brocade this morning, but the colour changes are there to see.
9th September 2020 and new growth springing up everywhere. It so warm and today at 0800hrs it was 18°C. This is what Brocade is well known for, the pastel shades !!!
20th September 2020 and new growth plus some strange colouring on my maples now. But Brocade is fulfilling it's promise.
23rd September 2020 and the first full day of Autumn. We have lots of rain so the dissectums come into their own IMO.
2nd October 2020 and after a heavy nights rain a little respite and some sun for a few minutes. My Brocade although drooping from the weight still, looked OK.
6th May 2021 and here we go for another season for my Brocade. I do love this one when it leafs out. Especially in the early sunshine.
19th May 2021 and it's been rather slow due to the very cold Spring this year, but now my Brocade is fully underway.
31st May 2021 and I've kept an eye on my Brocade as it's been rather tardy. But all is well as can be seen here.
