    Easily a week of difference on the colour change with mine Xi. No remnants of April frost damage on yours. You have it very well protected there.

    Beni Otake putting out some big wide leaves on the new growth - I'm always amused at how dramatically different the leaf-shapes are at different times of year. Mine's much darker than @wind-borne 's vivid beauty, though!

    That's the one! You can barely tell at all unless you're up close and know where to look: the new leader looks like it was always meant to be there, I'm so happy with it.

    @Acerholic, surprised the colors haven't changed here as well as we haven't had any sun to speak of for more than minutes at a time.
