Acer palmatum 'Beni hime'

11th November 2020 and now all the colours of the rainbow on my Beni Hime..

 

20th November 2020 and my cute Beni Hime loved the setting bright sun on its leaves. I loved it also.

 

23rd November 2020 and the colours are now of a glossy appearance. I say to everyone and especially those who want a maple but do not have much space, ' go for this cultivar '.

 

31st March 2021 with Winter now behind us and my little hime is waking up to the Spring sunshine and warmth.

 

18th April 2021 and after 11 straight nights of frosts, here is my little hime, sorry 'Beni hime' looking very happy in the morning sunshine.

 

10th May 2021 and my Beni hime survived all the frosts thankfully, and this morning after some very welcome rain the colours are emerging.

 

22nd June 2021 and my Beni hime is now doing well at last. It has taken a long time to get it back, but its doing OK now.

 

14th July 2021 and although sIow this year due to the awful Spring, my Beni hime is now putting out some very pretty branches.

 

21st July 2021 and the overnight dew is now starting. So it's time for a photo.

 

2nd April 2022 with snow and hard frosts. I hope my Beni hime is OK. So here it is looking very cold indeed.

 

27th April 2022 and after struggling in the snow a few weeks ago, my Beni hime is doing fine now.

 

21st May 2022 and the overnight rain was very welcome for my little Beni hime. It looked very happy, if not a little soaked....

 

18th June 2022 and I think I could here the leaves on my Beni hime say 'thanks for the water'. So very hot atm. All saved rainwater btw.

 

18th November 2022 and one of the very last to have leaves left in my garden.

 

18th May 2023 and I'm glad this one has leafed out OK, as it was hit by the one and only Spring frost this year.

 

19th November 2023 and my Beni hime turned at last. It was worth the waite though.

 

27th March 2024 and my Beni hime is underway for another Spring.
