Acer identification and explanation

    Im a new member hopefully will.get this right
    Please find attached some pictures of an acer with 2 different types of leaves from the same branch
    If any body can identify either type and possible the cause would be

    It could be the root stock have taken over the grafted cultivar or the tree have grown a sport branch. Hard to see from the blurriness of the pics you provided. Clear pics of the trunk, leaves, and branches of the tree will help better.
