Regarding the beautiful cultivar A. circinatum 'Monroe', Van Gelderen (1994) writes: "Unfortunately, it is susceptible to mildew, especially in wet summers." Have you found this to be true?

I have found that mildew can be a problem with all of the circinatum cultivars. I find that it can be controlled easily with proper placement... morning sun afternoon shade.
