I was able to make a cyanotype with more detail using a laser printer. Turns out inkjet provides the best negative for images, but I don't have an inkjet printer. I am happy to donate any of my prints to Maple Society to use as MS saw fit.
@kbguess, Hi Keith, I'm nothing to do with the MS committee, just a member, but IMO this picture you have produced is just stunning. I don't really have the words, but it draws me in, there is a depth that is wonderful and mysterious. 'Love it'. WELL DONE YOU !!
@kbguess, Hi Keith, that is very kind, but I've already downloaded it and saved it on my PC. 'Hope you don't mind'. Btw my wife loves it aswell. This thread you have created on the UBC is very refreshing indeed.
On my screen, it appears a dull dark blue : can you post it in another format like .svg or .xcf for instance ?...
That's really lovely Keith. I will PM you, I would really like to see something of what you've done made available through the MS.
@AlainK is this better? LOL Actually, I don't think changing the image type will change the appearance since the image is cyanotype which creates lower contrast blue images. It is an alternative photographic process
