A wild flower ID Please

    i was out for a walk and i spotted this flower .. i think it is near it's end for blooming .. most of the plant had gone to seed but it had a few flowers left on the top .. it is so pretty .. was wanting the name and I have attached a pic of the seed pods also wanted to know when will i know when the seeds are ready ???.. would like to collect some to plant for next yr .. thanks for any help .. it was such a beautifull day for a walk ..got pics of butterflies and birds and a Deer .. :)

    Lupine. Need a manual to figure which one, when not already well versed in those which grow in your region.

    thanks Ron .. looks like i will leave it alone ..lol.. highly poisonous .. but very pretty ..
