This creaturething is an enigma! I'll include the details and the minor details for those devoted most closely to botanical endeavors.

This plant is about 7 feet tall with a stalk from 3" dia at the base to about 1/2" dia at the top. It flowers in the summer, white and purple bell shaped flowers, mostly hanging downwards. The leaves are giant, alternating along the stalk and originating from a single stem (single leaf per stem), a picture that looks similar is included but they are very big and had weak teeth on the leaf. It was covered in bumblebees, hence the grainy photo :D and had some milky substance inside when punctured.
Here are the only photos I have. We're sure that its either a plant, weed, alien, or many aliens working together as a group. Please help us lay the last two ideas to rest.

    Thanks !!!!!
    Suz.
