I am looking for a tree that can stand the heat in Las Vegas. The problem is the west side (that needs the shade) has a dog run that is only 9ft wide. and to make it even more challenging the dog run has a concrete walk way leaving only about 3ft wide space next to the fence. I need a deciduous tree (more than one is OK) that will shade the whole area with a non invasive root system and fast growing crown that can take the heat and the winter chill wind. Any advice ??
