Great! My white pumpkin plant has (after many flowers, lots of drought, and few bees) sprouted a pumpkin! It's small and green and about the size of a tomato, and growing well. Still, I want to make sure that it will be nice and big and white by Halloween. Is there anything that I can use on it to help it be ready by then?

Ok, that's what I thought... It's just that a couple of people had told me that they had heard of farmers pouring a buttermilk solution on the pumpkins to help them grow.

Treat it generously with at least two or three month's worth of time. And a lot of extra heat and sunlight (since there isn't much of those around now, naturally!).
