This is my indoor commercial Chysanthemum plant - about to go into full bloom! It is over one year old and has tripled in size!

The flowers will be snow white and the petals look like stringy pipe cleaners. It is quite unique. I will show it again when the buds open fully.

It is loaded with buds everywhere, as you'll see in the second shot...

In an effort to revive this thread:

Here is a time lapse of my Passiflora incarnatae while I was away :)

In the first pic, I was about to leave for two or three weeks. The next pic is what they looked like when I got back and repotted them. Then, a rat came and destroyed them all. The last pic is after the rat ate most of them, just when they started to grow back.

Next I'll post another pic from when I took the third one and then two from today, where you can see them flourishing!! Such troopers once they've germinated!! :D

Welcome back, Joey. I often think of you because of my 'caerulea' passiflora vine - which is thriving by the way! We must do another trade shortly - I have some real treats for you.

Well, I am glad you broke the ice Joey, and returned for some conversation. Your seedlings are lovely.

Here is my mystery banana plant that ShearMe sent me, not very long ago. The thing is just thriving! I posted this shot on IBS, and someone said that it might be an orinoco maybe.

It sure is growing like crazy for me and I really love it...

Oooooh, I'll look forward to it! I've been kind of scattered lately now that I'm back in school, but I'll try to find time soon to look through all of my seeds and come up with a list :)

Yes, it is really a great performing plant, and I am looking forward to identifying it for certain. It really likes it here.

Did you receive the succulent cuttings yet, Zac?

    : )

P.S. Here's my little castor bean seedling, and also my ripening 'red currant' sweet cherry tomatoes, that grew in a hanging basket all season long outside. Now that it's much cooler out, I've brought them in to ripen. Are they ever...

Ok, Joey. I know life is busy.

    1. "Red Currant" sweet cherry tomatoes ripening in my living room.

    2. Baby burro's tail "Burrito" cuttings taking off - sent you this type too Zac.

    3. One year old commercial Chrysanthemums (mums) beginning to bloom.

That's great, Zac ~ hope you like them all. Be sure to plant everything ~ even loose beads. All of them will grow for you.

A lot of people don't know that about succulents ~ that you don't even need a whole cutting to make another plant. Leaves and pieces will root as well.

Just bury the broken side in the dirt, but leave most of the leaf or piece above the soil and it will root within two weeks. These plants have a real will to live, and they root very easily.

If I had a flat, I'd definitely plant every single little piece, but I don't so I only planted as much as I could fit into my remaining two tin cans and two mini-ceramic pots for those grassy things.

Yup, I understand Zac - you only have room for so much.

Just wanted to get the point across how easy these plants are to propagate. You can give the pieces to others too.

I give the guy that lives above me free plants all the time - he just loves it. Why not share? To me, that's what it's all about - sharing. Gardeners should always share with each other.

I know no one to share with, especially in these colder days...

I bet there's someone on UBC who would want them! Just chuck them if you can't do anything else with them, Zac - no biggie.

Looking forward to getting some of your sedum varieties in Spring...
