A palm I think?

    This has been growing in my garden for abot 20 years. Can anyone tell the name.

    Cycas revoluta (Sago palm) though technically not a palm.

    Yes I think it looks very similar to sago palm. I think it must be from the same family. It dosen't have any spikes on the base of the stems or center flower crown like a sago palm. I will try and get a better photo.

    G'day gilgold, hows hot old Perth going?
    I think you might have either a Lepidozamia or Macrozamia.
    There are a few cycad resident experts on here that may be able to help...
    With the slow growth rate it may be one of the 2 above as they are usually slow growers.

    I did some research on the internet with the clues you gave me and think it might be Macrozamia macdonnellii?

    Yes it looks "feathery" like your one, doesn't it?
