a new to me groundcover

    I've found this very low growing plant that looks like some type of cedar. I'm new to my area, Haliburton Ontario, and have never seen such a thing. Can anyone tell me what it is.

    It's a clubmoss, not a cedar. Probably Diphasiastrum digitatum.
