I bought this plant from a grocery store ..... a year and a half ago? Maybe more?
I dont know exactly what it is. I liked the look of it :) It never had a labeled name. I think it said it was... tropical? (which would be odd for where I live...) Anyways, its gotten quite big. Before it was in the kitchen, then I was forced to move it a corner, now, back in the kitchen. I think its grown the most during the short period of time (4 months) when it was in a not well lit corner. However, a lot of the leaves keep dying. Also, when will it stop growing? I dont want it to hurt itself being so tall and fall over. Should I cut it? My dad thinks that cutting it will bush out the lower area a bit more and be benificial.... Im more about letting nature take its course and help it by removing dead leaves..
Also, how often should I water it?

Thanks in advance for all your help :)
