Great photos, and ooh, what a mouth-watering color. Yum! My double-flowered baby (salmon-y pink) is happily blooming away in its winter location, the little plant room under the basement stairs. ---If I can prevail upon my technology-knowledgeable daughter sometime this eve., I will attempt to post a photo of a blossom thereof.
No, no seed pods on mine. When it does make one all they do is turn yellow and fall off. Verry pretty togata57 :)
Yes mine seem to do the same. I tried all summer here to get mine to make seeds but they always fall off before the pods have a chance to completly develop.
Thanks, Blake. Presently she has 6 blossoms! I go downstairs to look at her, and compliment her frequently. I think that she enjoyed the (relatively) cool summer we had here this year.
Next year with any luck Togata I wiil. lolol brought one back from Tenerife from the airport but of course its just a babe.

My hibiscus, which I received as a 15cm long cutting about three years ago, is now over 2m tall and bloomed for the first time today.
