Great question. I am planning to get some of the trees in the ghost series, and after reading about the different ones, I have decided to get the purple ghost and the sister ghost. The decision was tough because I have never seen these trees in person, so I had to base my decision on what I read in the forum. I do not know if I made the right decision, but what is the right decision? everything is so subjective. xman
So far, my favorite is 'First Ghost'. As far as reticulated cultivars go though, I love 'Ariadne'. It seems to be much more dependable in regard to the reticulation.
As Xman says, It's a tough decision. I never have seen one of the "gost series" in person, but looking in several sources for pictures, I also will choose the sister gost. This will be one of my next cultivars to be included in my collection (next spring, I hope). Nelson
