I am beginning my Master's degree in biodiversity and conservation and am having trouble identifying seedlings. Any help with these plants would be greatly appreciated!
Forbe 5 (the third picture that is attached) looks like it could be goldenrod and I have been waiting for it to bloom. However, goldenrod is in full bloom right now and this plant still looks like the picture. Also, after comparing the leaves of goldenrod and this forbe, i can tell it is different. Where goldenrod has three or more main veins in the leaves, this plant only has one. Let me know if anyone can identify these! Thank you!

#3 can be Chamerion angustifolium (?), although in most cases identifying seedlings is an uneasy task. They are look alike and frequently absolutely dissimilar to the mature plants.

The goldenrod is probably won't produce flowers in the first year.

Thank you! That helps... I will look into this more and see if I can try to pin it down!
