Thank you for any identification help! Cheilymenia sp.? I never tried to key this one out, and the photo doesn't illustrate much for ID purposes, but I wonder if this could be a species of Hypholoma (capnoides?): Fungi growing on leaf--Strobilurus is restricted to Douglas Fir cones, isn't it? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/stormbythesea/Fungi/AA--MushroomsonLeaf.jpg Easiest one for last! You can see the edge of a penny in the lower right corner of the photo. A cup fungus? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/stormbythesea/Fungi/AA--CupFungi1.jpg
Hi, the first one does not look like Cheilymenia -- I am not sure I seee the typical eyelash hairs. This does not resemble Hypholoma capnoides from this photo. In fact, it resembles something that i did collect recently -- Cortinarius pluvius. Buty in any rate, without knowing at least the color of the spores/gills, any id is just a far-fetched guess. The tiny one is not a Strobilurus, but rather Hemimycena -- and these require microscopy. Some Marasmius species have similar habit and size too. I can't see the photo AA2. D. www.mushroomhobby.com
