Ten yards of wood chip mulch was delivered to mulch the vegetable garden, cost ten dollars per yard. The potato patch of a 15 plant row of Yukon Gold and a row of Superior was first. Main purpose is to retain moisture. The bed was cleared of weeds before applying the mulch.

Just 'calcliating', how much do your potatoes end up costing, per pound?

Seed was two five pound bags. I used about half of each, cost about six dollars each. Labour free for pristine produce. I will get about 50 pounds for my Winter cold room plus what I use during the growing season. I expect from 3 t0 5 pounds per plant weather accommodating. Total 30 plants.
