    Good morning all!

My office had a sale on plants as, for some odd reason, they have just banned them. So, I saw the opportunity and picked up a few for $10 each. Unfortunately, I am really bad with plants and need some help on keeping them alive. I am including links to the images below and have some related questions for each as well:

They are all kept in my house with varying amounts of light and temperatures that range from 65F to 85F.

    - What is this plant?
    - How do I care for it (light and water)?
    - Is the plant toxic to a cat who seems to like to chew on leaves?

    Plant 1

    Plant 2

    Plant 3

    Plant 4

    Plant 5

(for plant 5 - the leaves are also starting to spot and turn brown - help please)
    Plant 5 - Brown Leaves
    Plant 5 - Spots

    Plant 6

Thank you all very much for your time - I really appreciate it!

    John

#3 looks like Dracaena fragrans 'White Stripe'. The palm appears to be Howea forsteriana, Sentry Palm.

If I recall correctly, none of these will harm your cat.

Thank you all for the names - this is really helpful. I can now look up general care information for each. And thank you for chiming in on the cat question Lorax.
