5 yr. old Purple Robe Locust with splitting trunk

    Ifollowed the link on purple robe locust issues. Mine is growing tall (35') and beautiful but the trunk is developing deep splits. We live in the high desert of western Colorado. It gets plenty of water. Any suggestions?
