    Hi,

I am growing upstairs some plants in several containers, but there are some plants where I am not sure what they are. So I am asking here.

The photos I supply contain a number for each plant to be identified. Please use this number for your answer. I hope you can help me.

OK, the ones that look like grass (number 1) are twitchgrass. They're generally considered a weed in pots.
I initially figured #2 for Cardamine, but looking closer I'm not so sure.
#3 reminds me of YierbaBuena - is there any smell to the leaves?

And I'd dearly like to know what kind of seed #4 came up from.

Hi Lorax, thanks for your answers.

I live in Jamaica (still, I am a German). On the lower roof platform I have a number of these silver pots I use for growing plants. The soil is quite loamy, and it is Jamaican soil. Got it from some street construction works. So I suspect #1 and #4 to be Jamaican plants. The other ones are - hopefully - South African plants (those around #1, #2, and #3) and Italian Ruccola salad (around #4). But since I am not sure if they are, or if they are weeds, too, I decided to,post here.

I will keep #4 growing, and observe to which wonders it will grow up.

I am adding some more photos (#4, #2, #3), maybe it becomes easier now...

#3 seems to have become a Mimosa or relative. The other two are not at all familar now that they've got leaves.

Mimosa is a plant which is sensitive to touches, right? So would it retract the leafs when i touch them continuously? Or are only some Mimosa plants that responsive?

Only some Mimosas are touch-sensitive, particularly M. pudica, which that one is not. It could also be Albizia or another genus within the Mimosa family - and then you'll only know when it blooms.
