    2. Agree Populus × berolinensis.

4-5. Either Populus tremula, or (given the whitish leaf undersides) Populus × canescens (P. tremula × P. alba).

    6-7. Agree Quercus cerris.

I agree with you on #1, that it looks like field scabious/Knautia arvensis

    great! thanks!

here's two more quick ones and then I'll do my best not to choke you with my photos as often;) Mainly, I've had it enough with intensive plant collecting for this year so I'm gonna switch to reading books (more or less;))

    1) Betula pubescens? Shoots slightly hairy, leaves have hair tufts under vein joints. But leaf bases look more tapered than those on downy birches I've seen!? Maybe Betula obscura?

    2) Quercus pyrenaica - Pyrenean oak?

oh thanks for mentioning that, didn't know B.obscura was a synonym!

It might as well be B. x aurata - I've read that it's leaves are rounder and more tapered than those of B.pendula and, since it's a hybrid, I suppose being slightly hairy comes with the package as well.

I'll do some more digging, should be fun:)

Probably depends on the authority checked - I'd not be surprised if some consider B. obscura to be a distinct species.
