I've owned this plant since 1985, it moved with me from California to Colorado. I love this plant dearly. Its never gotten very big, only 2 feet tall, but shoots out new growth all the time.

Here's the problem, its been in the same pot and same potting soil for 11 years. The soil was looking sad but the plant was doing fine. I transplanted it into a new pot (larger), with new potting soil. When transplanting, I noticed that the root system seemed like it hadn't grown since the last time I transplanted it (probably explains why it seems stunted), so I was very gentle when I transplanted it. After about a week or so I gave it a very small amount of miracle grow. I've let it get really dry, then give it a good drink of water.

Now that it's been about two months after the transplant, its dying. The new growth is pale, pale green, breaking over, some tips are brown, some are OK. All the old growth is all turning brown and dying. Please tell me there is something I can do... So sad in Colorado :-((
