The area for planting three rows of chickpeas was prepared. A layer of compost was added, and rototilled into the soil. Area was raked smooth ready for planting seeds in about a month. This is my first attempt at growing chickpeas.

About 50 in each row. The rows will be wood chip mulched later. This is my first experience with chickpeas.
