Hi all, It's my pleasure to announce to the forum that registration for the 2017 Maple Symposium and Tour, taking place in Brittany and Normandy, France, is now open. The symposium begins on October 25th in Roscoff. I'd like to stress that attendance is open to everyone, not restricted to members of the Society. All maple enthusiasts are welcome! Full details of speakers, schedule, and visits can be found at this address: International Maple Symposium 2017 in Roscoff, Brittany, France - 25/26 October | The Maple Society The symposium features discussions of Chinese, Vietnamese, Iranian and North American maples as well as discussions on conservation of species and on maple cultivars. Some of the best gardens in Northern France are on deck during the symposium and post-symposium tour visits. The dates for the symposium are the 25th and 26th October, 2017; the post-symposium tour is on the 27-29 October, with the bus trip finishing in Paris with stops at the CDG airport and in town.
