bullseye, you ask for comments, mine are in no way comments on the quality of your pics, but to your way of posting . Please please use the recommended way of attaching images. See panel to right.
By doing so, I can see in a glance if it a subject I want to have a closer look at. I get a complete overview of all pics and can instantly click on one to enlarge it.
Additionally if posted in this way, they are on this forum for good. If I understand correctly, if you delete them from photobucket, they will be lost to this thread too.
It is too much like hard work to click in and out. I would far rather you did the hard work for me!!!!
Praps that is why no one has commented!!!!

Just what I'll expect from a Welshman, nothing less. This coming from an English Cockney fella now living in Canada.

Let me know when you want me to come shear those sheep as well mate!

There's also the problem that photobucket generates a lot of unpleasant (and often pornographic) pop-up spam. It's one thing to get rid of it once, another thing altogether to have to do so 15 or 20 times.

for anyone that doesn't know (and i was one until i figured it out and that took a while), use the Direct Link code line from photobucket (instead of IMG) and your pics will show in your posts here (and they will be clickable if anyone wants to see them in large size).

you still need to use the 'advanced' reply and scroll down to 'manage attachments' and the paste the direct link coding into the fields in attachment window...make sure to upload and once you see the links listed in blue in that little window, you're good to go and can close it out and then finish your post and submit it.

i have NEVER seen any pop-ups or spam from the photobucket site. ever. and i've got a free account, so you'd expect that kind of thing. and, no, i do not have any pop-up blocker active on my computer, either!

as for you pics, bullseye, everything is looking good!! please post pics of the cannas when they bloom!

LOVE the first lily!! which one is that?? i've got tom pounce that is just about to open and the the one that's out front (i don't know the name of that one) is open...i took pics yesterday & still have to get them off the camera. my hydrangea buds are starting to color up, too - mixed again this year, some pink, some blue/purple.

Maybe I get their adverts because I only visit and don't have an account there?

actually, i just posted on the other thread discussing it...i've seen pop-ups from two hosting sites. not photobucket though - can't remember which two are the guilty party, either, at the moment.

even before i had an account there, i never saw pop-ups. maybe it has something to do with your location? i dunno!

I posted earlier but I no longer see it here

I have been using photobucket for years and I never yet have seen a pop up of any kind

I would have posted pic the same way as bullseyes

But I will try a different way

Each forum has their own system so don't blame him please

Odd I don't see a preview button on this forum to test how ones pictures came out before posting

    so here I go

    cheers

Welcome bunting. Apologies, normally questions are answered really quickly. To the right of this screen is "Attaching images "with advice from Daniel.

When you have written you post, and added your pictures, scroll down, under the blue box is "Preview Post" which will shows you exactly how it will look, and give you a chance to make corrections. Hope this helps.

bunting, should have suggested that you start a new thread for your hosta pics, with new title. That way hosta fans will home in to look.

  19. Intermittent showers today but we could use more rain. Bee balm, goose necks and cone flowers are appearing. Looking forward to seeing what birds will be attracted to the self-seeded sun flower.

  22. Our sunflowers too are growing up this summer. Combination of a good Spring and summer rains seemed to have boosted these showy plants.

    Bullseye, is that your forum?

    Beautiful Dahlia!

Sun flowers are a great attraction for the birdy visitors Doug.
