Two sets of pics here, 9 of the first tree, then 9 of the second on a different street. I've guessed they are species of Pittosporum because of their seed shapes/styles. I've seen the second tree with its fuzzy blue/green pods earlier this season, but only just noticed that they dry out, turn brown, then pop open. That's a new development. I'd actually been thinking they were little fruits of some kind that would fall from the tree still pale and fuzzy. I did not notice the first tree until all the seed pods were brown and dry, and am unaware of how they may have looked previous to this. I've looked through pittosporums online, but haven't found any matches yet, though the first might be P. tobira.
