i am glad 2010 is over,it was the worst season for my 2 trees,we have a veridis,more acuratly a waterfall,its about 8 years old this past spring we had 90 degree days in april,about 2 weeks later the leaves all turned brown,they never fell of but the tree did not grow.we are hoping it will recover this year.we also have a sangu kaku,we got so much heavy wet snow in december it broke off a very good size branch but the tree looks ok so far,it was realy growing well,we spray it with an anit deccacant every fall and it realy helps the branches from getting black tip. here are pics of both trees before any damage. hope every one else has had a good winter
