Usually the rabbits denude the shoots during the Winter but this year they survived.There are a reasonable number of berries. I have never found any in my trips wandering through he woods in Ontario. These are sweet and hopefully I will get some for the table. The bushes are mixed with the Pawpaw tree.
Are these thornless, or am I just not seeing the thorns? Someone just asked about thornless blackberries in another thead.

Blackberries will always have a white core, whereas black raspberries are hollow in the center (just like raspberries).
