2 Common vine-y plants

    New house!! Please see attached for 2 vine-y plants that I can't name. I know they're common, I just haven't had them before. The vine climbing the fence is also the root shown - 5 feet away. Shiny leaves are the owner of the purple flower, I believe. If I'm not mistaken, one is supposed to be there, the other not so much. Help me id the stuff in my new home! Thanks!

    # 3 looks to be Vinca. The flower in the photo is from a cyclamen tuber.

    The first one, the vine, looks like Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Virginia Creeper. A keeper.
