    Please an anyone confirm if this is Pyrola. asarifolia subsp. asarifolia....or if not, then what might it be?

    More likely Pyrola asarifolia subsp. bracteata, given the lengths of the bracts subtending the pedicels and the denticulate leaves. Note that this subspecies is not recognized as distinct from the type in all floras / texts (E-Flora BC / Ill'd Flora of BC does not, while Flora of North America and Burke Museum's Washington Flora do).

    I have only seen the pics in books.
    I was so disappointed not to see the flowers fully open.
